The Gender Neutral Nursery - Why Choose Monochrome?

It's such a hard dilemma - you don't know whether your little bundle of joy is going to be a boy or a girl, but you really want to finish the nursery before they make their big arrival.

When I was in this situation, I found that most gender neutral schemes were beige, cream, beige, more beige or pale yellow - and I didn't like any of them.  But thankfully, things have changed with the influx of monochrome by designers and makers, and some of the most stylish nursery decor is now black and white.

But style aside, the most important factor has got to be baby development.  Newborns cannot see further than 8 to 12 inches away from their face, and they can only see black, white or grey.  So there you have it!  Not only can you plan the most amazing nursery, but your babies development will benefit from it too!
