DockATot founder Lisa Furuland was inspired to make this product after becoming a mum herself, and struggled to find a safe place to put her child when she wasn’t holding him. DockATot offers a range of award-winning, gender neutral baby loungers and accessories that ensure your little one has a comfy place to rest, play and cuddle, as well as stylishly fitting into your home.
DockATot’s tagline is ‘the wellbeing, security and happiness of our babies are the objectives and inspiration of my creation.’ - and that very much appears to be the case. The amount of care, attention to detail and testing that goes into these docks to ensure they are completely safe for babies is exceptional; including air permeability and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class 1 certification for every fabric and fastening on the pod, ensuring airflow throughout the dock so baby will experience an ideal temperature, thus ensuring they feel comfortable and calm, and lastly, employing talented workers to hand cut, hand-stitch and hand-sew each dock.
How do you use a DockATot?
Both DockATot Deluxe+ Docks & DockATot Grand Docks are multifunctional docking stations for babies and toddlers. Created to mimic the womb, the DockATot is the perfect spot for baby to lounge, play, be read to, watch a mobile up above, lie under a toy arch, have nappy changes and tummy time, all in the same familiar environment and with you present. Babies are never to be left alone in the DockATot.
Where are DockaTots made?
All DockATots are designed in Sweden, woven and printed in Portugal, and then handmade in a small European town.
The covers are made from 100% cotton from only the best suppliers. All of the fabrics are non-toxic, free from harmful substances, and come in a huge range of patterns including a number of limited edition designs. DockATots are rigorously tested including fabric performance, testing for harmful phthalates and heavy metals, flammability regulations, children’s product general safety regulations etc.
Why has Sleepyhead changed its name to DockATot?
Sleepyhead Of Sweden (Sleepyhead UK) was originally run as the sister brand of DockATot, and in March 2021 the company made the decision to rebrand and embrace a singular brand name. DockATot's were originally sold in the US under the aforementioned name, whereas in the UK they were sold under the name Sleepyhead. The name change meant more continuity with branding and being able to deliver a simpler & singular brand name.

Is DockATot safe for sleeping?
DockATot are VERY clear on the guidance that this product is NOT a sleep aid. Babies should never be left to sleep unattended in the DockATot. It is purely for lounging & playing whilst being fully supervised. DockATot’s are never to be used in a bassinet, crib or cot.
Why can’t babies sleep in a DockATot?
The Lullaby Trust safer sleep guidelines state:
Items such as cushioned sleeping pods, nests, baby hammocks, cot bumpers, pillows, duvets and anything that wedges or straps a baby in place can pose a risk to babies under 12 months. Evidence shows that sleeping a baby on anything but a firm, flat surface, or using soft, heavy bedding, can increase the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). They can lead overheating or potentially obstruct a baby’s airway if they roll or their face becomes covered by loose bedding.
