What are the easiest eco changes to make? - Bathroom edition

On our last blog we spoke about swaps to make in the kitchen for a more eco home. Today I thought I would share some brilliant swaps for the bathroom…

Firstly, the most obvious choice - bamboo toothbrushes. Did you know that the average plastic toothbrush takes around 1000 years to decompose? That’s why we have a brilliant range of kids & baby bamboo toothbrushes, as well as travel cases & toothbrush stands!

Starting to get kids into the habit of choosing a more sustainable toothbrush early on is a brilliant way to get them thinking about future choices to help save our planet. We absolutely love that the kids toothbrushes comes in a pack of 4, which will see them through the entire year, and also come in a range of colour ways too.

The next swap we are loving is the reusable makeup remover pads. This pack comes with 4x terry pads for tougher makeup, 12 x soft organic pads & also a mesh bag to pop them in before they go in the washing machine. These pads are a brilliant alternative to make up wipes or cotton wool pads, as they can be used time & time again.

We were really excited to try out the plastic free hair ties, especially as I had never registered these as a swap I needed to look in to. But when I found out it takes a normal hair tie around 500 years to decompose & 3 out of 4 of us in our households use them, they were a no brainier to swap!

I hope this blog gives a bit of inspiration as to some easy swaps to help the planet little by little.
